Location to the city centre.
Due to the extreme heat there was only a fan in the room. No air conditioning, situation was uncomfortable as with only 1 window there was no air flow in the room
Its location is ideal and its approach is friendly and efficient. The dining room - divided into several sections - makes things so much more intimate.
The hotel is within easy access of the centre of Cambridge and has good car parking facilities
The room was very small and the floor shuddered - we wondered whether we were over the boiler?
The location is very good for Cambridge colleges. Staff very helpful.
The hotel is looking tired, needs a makeover.
Reasonable hotel for a late booking, everything works. On site parking (chargeable). I have spacious room.
Very tired furnishings and decoration.
Excellent location, easy walk into Cambridge.Friendly staff and good breakfast dining experience - staff, food and environment..
Hotel in need of redecoration - on the whole decor dark and rather oppressive, in late 80's/early 90's mode.
The freshly cooked breakfast and the Forestdale ducks!!
Staff were very helpful, food was very good in restaurant, twin room was big and clean.
Location very good. Staff helpful.
The landing was blocked by an abandoned vacuum-cleaner on arrival. One of the lampshades in the bedroom was battered. There was a fairly long wait to queue for Saturday breakfast.
Comfortable bed, nice towels, big windows, good location.good breakfast, value for money
noisy as by the road, maybe needs double glazing.
Central location. Bar and public rooms were of a reasonable standard
Our room was tired and the decoration in poor shape. It didn't feel clean.
Great location but this hotel is in serious need of money being spent on refurbisment.
The hotel was close to the city center in Cambridge.
The hotel was not airconditoned something that was not clear during the booking. The elavator did not go to the 3rd floor and I was assigned a room there. The bathroom design was very poor. You typically would hit your head on the wooden beam that came down.
We were able to park easily on site, the beds were comfy, the water was hot and we enjoyed our leisurely breakfast.
One of our party was vegetarian, and we usually find that hotel menus have vegetarian sausage on the breakfast menu.
staff very friendly , nice clean rooms , ideal location for exploring cambridge and the surrounding area and its attractions
